On September 13, soprano Viki Hilferty, tenor Jon Lee Keenan, and organist Jim McCarthy gave the first performance of Gibson’s The Bell of Brother Francis, celebrating St. Francis de Paolo; Fr. Gino Vanzillotta composed the poem and commissioned the setting.
